World Qualifier Open
Over the weekend the Legends of Runeterra World Qualifier Open took place in all 3 regions (APAC, EMEA, and the AMERICAS) and put the game’s best players against one another to see who can come out on top to claim the prize pool, Runeterra Points as well as the invitation to the World Championship at the end of the year.
In the end, only 3 players could become the champion of their region with Newmen, Anopheles, and Drisoth being the champions for the regions of APAC, EMEA and AMERICAS respectively.
With their victory, they each claim a spot at the World Championships at the end of the year as well as $5,000 each and a total of 18 Runeterra points.
The other players who want to try to qualify for Worlds at the end of the year will have to now try and aim for the most Runeterra points at the end of the season. We have 2 Eternal Runeterra Opens remaining for the season and the possibility to earn points through ranked ladder placement as well, giving them the chance to try and earn the ‘Most Runeterra Points’ place available for the Worlds Invitation.
